Art leveraging Innovation

My name is Najette Derni, I am a Homeless Consultant, Inventor, Product Designer and Founder of 2 Companies, the last one: “House of Helmet was born from the idea of bringing together different communities around an object that is useful, beautiful, and meaningful.”
On my blog, I share stories and projects at the crossroads of innovation, business development, marketing, and communication: all of them interconnected. Through my consultancy work, I support entrepreneurs, designers, and companies in structuring growth strategies, clarifying their positioning, and translating innovation into compelling narratives for investors, partners, and markets.

After launching the gallery concept, I moved to Zurich with a broader ambition: scaling graphic design personalisation through industrial technology. With the support of a Engineering company expert in prototyping and the Head of Mechatronics at a Swiss university, I validated the concept of an industrial printer capable of printing on complex surface objects.
This innovation aims to enable mass personalisation by combining advanced printing, robotics, and AI, making it possible to reproduce artworks and designs on curved surfaces such as helmets with industrial precision. While production is currently made-to-order and hand-painted by automotive painters, the next step is full automation—opening strong B2B opportunities across mobility, sports, safety equipment, and customized industrial products.
To finance and promote this technological leap, I have developed an alternative strategy: Art Helmet exhibitions. These exhibitions serve both as communication tools and as a way to attract partners, clients, and investors interested in the future of personalised manufacturing. One of these exhibitions notably took place in Monaco, highlighting the premium and international positioning of the project.
This is a compelling example of how art-driven innovation can evolve into an industrial solution, I am at the moment seeking funding to initiate R&D, finalize the industrial printer prototype, and then deploy AI-powered mass personalisation at scale for manufacturers.
